By the dua’-e-khayr of Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) combined by the scholarly identification of the uniqueness of our Alavi Community, a separate entity has been coined in the book “A Modern History of the Ismailis” pertaining to Isma’ili history and beliefs edited by the renowned Isma’ili scholar Dr. Farhad Daftary.  And in the backdrop of the introduction given on our website, topic of our community has been dealt superbly by Tahera Qutbuddin, but much research in this regard is still waiting.  Since the launch of this website that has until now served as a single-headed source of information on Alavi Bohras is spearheading the efforts that has to be undertaken to make the researchers aware about the distinctiveness and origin of Alavi Bohras.  It is the only Alavi Bohras Official Website which serves the multitude of Isma’ili Taiyebi thoughts, beliefs and customs reflecting the era of Faatimiyeen.

Here, we bring to you the scanned copy of the section assigned to introduce Alavi Bohras from the title given above.  This thing is provided to us by the office of Syedi Mukaasir ud-Da’wat who has received the copy of the book from the office of the Editor. This book is expected to get released on 15th Feb 2011.

Its Gujarati Translation has got published in the monthly Deeni Newsletter "Mishkaat ul-Haadi" in its Safar 1432 issue.
